Don't Tread On Me Flag & U.S. Navy Signal Flags On United States Navy Frigate USS De Wert

The US Navy frigate USS De Wert was in the Old Port of Montreal as part of The War Of 1812 BiCentennial celebrations. It displayed this version of the Revolutionary War "Don't Tread On Me" Gadsden flag and a variety of other U.S. Navy signal flags. It was quite windy last night, which made it possible to get this photograph in which the whole "Don't Tread On Me" text of the United States Of America's First Navy Jack is completely legible.
